Summary:
The Chiffchaff gets its name due to its simple song. It has an olive green head and back and yellowish white underparts. A white stripe runs back from the beak through the eye.
Ecology:
The Chiffchaff mainly visits the British Isles during the summer and stays close to open wooded areas and coppice. The Chiffchaff sings from a high song-post, feeds mainly on insects and builds its nest in low bushes.
